A focused practice built around creators and communities.
Perix was founded on a simple belief: communities are the most defensible growth channel of the next decade — but only when they're built with care.
We work with founders, creators, and brand teams who see community not as a marketing channel, but as core product — the place where trust compounds and where the most valuable users are made, not acquired.
Our engagements are intentionally small in number. We embed alongside your team, take direct ownership over outcomes, and hand off systems your operators can run for years — not decks that sit in a drive.
We've built and operated communities across Discord and Reddit for consumer brands, entertainment properties, creators, and early-stage software companies. The through-line: durable engagement, honest measurement, and long-term partnership.
Hi, I'm Barron Grosch, founder of Perix.
Boston-based. Founder-operated.
I started Perix after years of hands-on community work; including building and managing a 55,000-member Discord community and co-managing a subreddit with nearly 2 million members, and seeing firsthand that the strongest communities aren't built through growth hacks, but through trust, thoughtful systems, and consistent execution.
Today I work with startups, creators, and brands to develop community strategies that strengthen engagement, improve operations, and create long-term value. Whether it's designing community infrastructure, managing creator partnerships, or helping teams scale their operations, my goal is always the same: build communities people genuinely want to be part of.
Outside of client work, I'm passionate about the future of online communities, the creator economy, and how digital relationships become lasting competitive advantages for modern businesses.
